Move the Democrat Convention from North Carolina

Change.org has launched a petition drive to pressure the DNC to move the Democrat National Convention from Charlotte, North Carolina in light of today's vote for intolerance and bigotry.  Make North Carolina pay a fiscal price and move the convention to a venue not hostile to LGBT individuals.  Let a non-bigoted state reap the millions of dollars that the convention will generate.  Here are details on the petition effort:

On May 8th, the people of North Carolina voted in support of Amendment One, a constitutional amendment that discriminates against LGBT people, couples & their families. In protest, the Democratic National Convention Committe should MOVE its convention (September 2012) OUT of North Carolina and INTO a state that upholds values of equality/liberty and which treats ALL citizens equally.
