A friend posted the image set out above on Facebook which, to my mind lays out the difference in the values of today's "godly" conservatives and the liberals they detest so much. The chart isn't perfect by any means but it goes to highlight the differences between the selfishness, fear and hate that are now the defining characteristics of conservatism in America. It is important to remember that conservatism wasn't always like this. When did it begin to radically change? When the Christofascists rose to power within the Republican Party and the conservative movement in general. These "godly Christians" are the antithesis of the Gospel message and true Christians. They are a scourge on society.
