White House To Hold "DADT Meeting" - Another Get Out the Vote Stunt?

The Liar-in-Chief and his disingenuous minions at the White House seem to be continuing to play games in the hope that the near across the board failure to deliver ANYTHING promised to LGBT voters two years ago will not totally bite the Democrats in the ass next Tuesday. Given the fact that the Republicans lead by John McSenile have vowed to filibuster any attempt to repeal DADT again in December - just as as they did in September - the purported meeting seems meaningless and nothing more than an exercise in navel contemplation by Obama's inept staff. Meanwhile, Obama's DOJ is doing all it can to keep DADT alive and on the books as the law of the land. Once again, I am moved by real actions as opposed to feigned concern. The Advocate has these highlights on the smoke and mirrors meeting. No doubt, HRC and other Obama enablers will be in attendance:
*
A White House official tells The Advocate that pro-repeal groups are scheduled to meet Tuesday with White House officials to discuss the path forward on repealing “don’t ask, don’t tell” during the lame duck session following the midterm elections.
*
“The White House is meeting with several interested parties to discuss the legislative repeal of ‘don't ask, don't tell.’ The meeting will concern the work that remains to be done to ensure Congressional action on this issue this year,” said the official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity.

*
The official declined to name any participants of the meeting, but sources tell The Advocate that senior White House advisor Valerie Jarrett and deputy chief of staff Jim Messina are expected to be present.

*
The White House obviously views LGBT Americans as a bunch of morons if this faux meeting is thought to be enough to curb current anti-Obama and anti-Democrat fury.
