Richmond Weekend - EV Commonwealth Dinner

In about an hour the boyfriend and I are headed up to Richmond to attend Equality Virginia's 2010 Commonwealth Dinner. The event is one of EV's biggest fundraisers - the Legends Gala held in November in Norfolk is probably second - and is always fun since it brings together literally people from all over the state. There is always a large contingent from Hampton Roads as well, so I am sure that we will have a wonderful time. I am truly looking for ward to this evening's main speaker - Andrew Sullivan who is a blogger icon to many whether or not one always agrees with his views. I truly identified with Andrew's description of growing up Catholic in his book, Virtually Normal. God knows that there is a plethora of subjects he may address in his talk - especially given Virginia's lurch backwards under Taliban Bob McDonnell and Kookinelli. Here are details on the event:
