The Danger Christian Fundamentalists Pose to Constitutional Government

I note often that Christian fundamentalists pose a clear and present danger to constitutional government in America.  The dangers range from Mike Huckabee who has said on national television in the past that he'd like to scrap the U.S. Constitution and replace it with the Bible - his version of the Bible, of course - to the raving lunatics at Liberty University and Regent University who want to craft special rights for Christian extremists and trample on the civil rights of other Americans.  Of these later supposed institutions of higher education (both sadly located in Virginia), Liberty wins hands down on nuttiness and insanity.  A piece in Salon looks at the dangers these extremists pose.  Here are highlights:
A lawyer and an associate dean at Liberty University, a columnist for Glenn Beck’s The Blaze, and the founder of WND’s Christian fundamentalist site Barbwire.com, Matt Barber might seem like an evangelical fringe character, but, clearly, he means to have his voice heard and his pronouncements taken seriously: his work appears under the portentous slogan RELATIVISTS BEWARE: TRUTH TOLD HERE.

Yet he is affiliated with Glenn Beck, so, in pursuit of Truth-Telling, he sees fit to publish such essays as “You Won’t Believe What the Devil Said to Me!” and “Sympathy for the Devil” — a Means to Destruction," in which the authors, in complete earnestness, write of a horned-and-dangerous Beelzebub as an existent being looming over their daily lives.

Christianity, that multilevered vehicle for the dissemination of “blind and naked ignorance,” has warped the minds of a majority of Americans, and Barber’s blog reflects (sadly) mainstream religious convictions.

[W]e have to take Barber seriously, precisely because we would be inclined to disregard him as deeply un-serious, and thereby fail to appreciate the increasing threat that Christianity poses to our Constitutionally godless Republic.  The latest reification of this faith-based menace: the proliferating “religious freedom restoration acts.”

Both RFRAs and restrictions on abortions are the products, largely, of evangelicals whose names should go down in infamy, but who, like Barber, at least out in the red states, bask in the light of benevolence as “people of faith.”

All those who, in the public arena, advance Christianity’s bizarre supernatural propositions about our world and our origins, and worse, use them to justify legislation, should expect relentless demands for evidence from rationalists.  . . . . Verse and chapter cited from a potentially unreliable translation of a supposedly holy book composed millennia ago by unknown humans cannot pass as “proof.”

Derangement is clearly rampant across large swathes of America.  Citizens of one of the most technologically advanced nations on earth who opt, of their own volition, to believe in a magic book negated by science and peppered with all manner of bilious behests and misanthropic myths cannot be esteemed to be thinking sanely.

Barber’s blog is but a symptom of the seemingly incurable malady of faith.  In fact there is a remedy — free speech, applied liberally to infected areas.  Rationalists must resist all calls to show respect for religion, be it Christianity or Islam or any other faith with universalist pretensions.

In the United States the winds of reason are blowing more strongly than ever: since 2012 alone, 7.5 million have abandoned religion.  . . . Those sleeping the slumber of faith hang DO NOT DISTURB signs about their minds.  No rationalist should feel obliged to comply.

Matt Barber - Still a Hate Merchant and Advertisement for Leaving Christianity

Yesterday this blog an others noted that Matt Barber - Assistant Dean at Liberty University's toxic law school - was promoting a columnist who advocated the execution of gays base, naturally, on the "literal word of God" found in Leviticus and a few other phrases in the Bible.  In apparent reaction to the firestorm that resulted (or perhaps the disclosure that the promoted "columnist" had a lengthy criminal record), Barber took down the post advocating for the murder of gays.  Now, Barber seems to think that he is exonerated from all his promotion of anti-gay violence.  This, of course, is anything but the case given Barber's ugly anti-gay history.  Indeed, if Barber is typical of "godly Christians," then decent people should be hastening to flee Christianity entirely.  A piece at Right Wing Watch reminds us of Barber's true role as a constant hate merchant and the ugliness that he promotes daily. Here are some highlights:
[Philip] Stallings’ column has disappeared, and today Barber tweeted at us, “Wow! Thanks for the tip. We obviously weren’t aware of that & find the position appalling. The answer is life in Christ.”
Well. It’s good to have Matt Barber say he finds the idea of executing gay people appalling. We agree.

But if that’s the case he ought to consider vetting the material he promotes a little more carefully. Just over a week ago we noted that BarbWire had run a column praising Pastor Steven Anderson, who has called for the execution of gays, and has said, “You want to know who the biggest hypocrite in the world is? The biggest hypocrite in the world is the person who believes in the death penalty for murderers and not for homosexuals.”

And given how much anti-gay extremism is promoted by Barber and his Religious Right allies, that got us wondering if anything else short of calling for the killing of gay people would cross the line for Barber.

We collected some other statements that Barber apparently doesn’t find appalling, because they’ve all been in columns promoted on his site:

·       * Gays are degenerates.
·       * Transgender people are demonic.
·      *  Gays “have your children as a target”
·       * Pastors who marry same-sex couples are “servants of Satan.”
·        * “The homosexual leaders are the most vile, vicious, and vitriolic people in the world.”
·      *“ISIS is truly the manifestation of the purest form of the homosexual agenda: sodomizing men as both torture and pleasure, and killing those who disagree with them.”
·      * “The fictional ‘rights’ based on homosexual deviance and the genuine, God-given, First Amendment-protected rights of the vast majority of Americans cannot coexist.”

Here are some other things we find appalling that Matt Barber seemingly does not:

Jeff Allen, a BarbWire editor, compares the gay rights movement to “a malignant cancer” and says, “Each victory for the homosexual activists represents another nail in America’s coffin.”  Allen has supported brutal anti-gay laws in Uganda, Nigeria, and Ethiopia, which include imprisonment not only for sexual conduct but also for joining social clubs or advocating for equality. Allen was upset when criticized for his “innocent mistake” of calling a fake photo of “NAMBLA for Obama” an example of “the undeniable link between homosexuality and pedophilia.” More Allen: “Satanism, sodomy, and slaughter are each part of the Devil’s sinister agenda to destroy America.”

This spring, BarbWire published a column by former Indiana lawmaker Don Boys recounting his attempt to recriminalize homosexuality. In a similar column a few years earlier, Boys had explained that he wanted to make homosexuality a crime punishable by up to twelve years in prison.

Robert Oscar Lopez wrote for BarbWire that almost every situation “involving a same-sex couple with exclusive custody of small children is adult misconduct at best or a crime against humanity at worst.”

BarbWire publishes notorious anti-gay activist Scott Lively, who wrote this summer that the US and its State Department had become “The Great Satan” of the world for opposing anti-gay legislation overseas. Lively has promoted anti-gay policies in Uganda and around the world.

And that’s just a sampling of the anti-gay extremists who have found a home on BarbWire. Not to mention Barber himself, who says he has been “called by God” to “sound the alarm” about the fact that gay sex is always sinful, and “The wages of sin is death.”
Barber is indeed a foul piece of work.  It is individuals like Barber that make me increasingly not to even the moniker of being a Christian.

Feel the Love: Barbwire Blog Features "Christian" Columnist Who Backs Executing Gays

Christian extremist Philip Stallings
I find it beyond hypocrisy for American Christofascists to denigrate and mock ISIS's followers who harbor hatred of others much like that of the Christofascists themselves.  While most Christofascists do not condone the murder of nonbelievers as is being done by ISIS, there is a frightening element in the evangelical right that does indeed support the execution of nonbelievers.  Especially gays. As Right Wing Watch reports Matt Barber's blog "Barbwire" is showcasing a post about columnist Philip Stallings, a Christian Reconstructionist, who advo cates the execution of gays.  For those not in the know, Barber is the Assistant Dean at Liberty University's frightening school of law in Lynchburg, Virginia. Here are excerpts from Right Wing Watch:

Matt Barber’s website BarbWire has become quite the outlet for extremists. Today, BarbWire promotes as one of its “Top Stories” a column called “Repent! For the Kingdom of Sodom is At Hand.”  Columnist Philip Stallings bemoans growing support for LGBT equality among millennials, blaming it on “the public school system’s indoctrination of wickedness.” Stallings praises civil magistrates in North Carolina who have refused to issue marriage certificates to “sodomites.” And, of course, he cites the over-hyped controversy over subpoenas in Houston, and the Alliance Defense Fund’s concocted controversy about the “Hitching Post” wedding chapel business in Idaho to portray equality advocates as enemies of religious liberty:
When are we going to realize that this is war? There can be no doubt that the trend now is not only to bully and wreak havoc among Christians, but to lock up Pastors and anyone else that stands for the truth until God’s Law is eradicated from their mist. . . .

Stallings is identified on BarbWire as a “Political Theonomist.” That’s a term used by Christian Reconstructionists who believe government should be enforcing their interpretation of Old Testament law, like Gary North and Michelle Bachman mentor John Eidsmoe.

Turns out that’s exactly what Stallings believes. His Twitter feed links to a Christian radio show on which he spent nearly half an hour on August 25 arguing that the government should execute homosexuals – or “sodomites.”

It’s my position that the role of the state is morally obligated to obey God’s law…I am for lawful execution of the homosexual.
When the show’s surprised hosts pushed back and asked whether he would support other things called for in the Old Testament, like the stoning of rebellious children, Stallings said God commanded whole nations to be destroyed “all the way down to their children” and that the rebellious son in the Bible was “refusing their parents’ commandments and was openly rebellious in the community.”

And, yeah, I’m for what the Bible teaches in that regard, along with the murderer, and the rapist, and the kidnapper, and in this case the sodomite.

These folks are just as insane as the followers of ISIS.  They are a clear and present danger.

"Christian Writer" Calls Gays "Forces of Satan"

Recently a young gay man was beaten to death in California.  Police are still looking for the perpetrators.  One has to wonder who such brutality happens.  But the answer is sadly all too easily discovered: the incessant drum beat of anti-gay hatred disseminated by "godly Christians."  One place to find this foul message is on BarbWire, a hate blog maintained by Matt Barber, an assistant dean at Liberty University Law School (again, why does Liberty still have ABA accreditation?).  And as seems to always be the case among Christofascists circles, one NEVER needs true credentials to become an "expert" or "authority" when it comes to disseminating hate and misogamy.  In a column be the seriously delusional Gina Miller equates gays to the forces of Satan - and also attacks Muslims, environmentalists, and liberals - proving that hate is the principal hallmark of today's conservative Christians.  Here are highlights from the batshitery explosion:
Back in March and then in May, I told you about a new, brazen campaign by homofascist activists to target three southern states, Mississippi, Alabama and Arkansas, with their aggressive push for the destruction of marriage and the creation of other special “rights” for sexual deviants.  With the hellish support of homosexuality-lover Barack Obama (or whatever his name is) the militant homosexual movement is now on steroids, which makes them bolder than ever, bold enough to target conservative states with larger Christian populations.

[W]hat these sexual deviants are trying to do, which is bastardize the meaning of marriage, and further, to subordinate the rights of most Americans to this campaign of perverse tyranny.

At Renew America, Tim Dunkin, in his column, “Gay Adoption is Child Abuse,” writes:
Let’s face it – handing children over to gays to be raised is as much abuse as is locking them in hot cars for hours on end. In fact, it’s even worse – you can rescue a child from a car and make sure it never happens to him… again, but once you start yielding to the fallacies that facilitate gay adoption and start allowing judges to force it into place via judicial fiat, you are handing children over to on-going, endemic abuse that will last for the next 18 years. That is a crime against humanity, and no sane society would do this.
The fast-spreading cancer of the militant homosexualist movement has now hit our southern states with a fury.  The hour is late.  We’re far beyond the point at which we should give a rip what the radical communist Left says about us.  We should not care a whit when they call us foolish, mindless names as we tell the truth about their evil agenda.  As I have said many times before, there are two camps in this world, the Lord’s camp and Satan’s camp.  Each of us is in one or the other.  There is no neutral camp—NONE.  Therefore, we see the forces of what we call “the Left” aligned against the people of God, whether they be Christians or Jews. All the demented “leftist” campaigns in our world, whether they are of radical homosexualists, tyrannical environmentalists, wicked communists or demonic Islamists, are of the devil . . .

They’re also clamoring for “employment non-discrimination laws,” which the criminal Obama recently mandated—without congressional approval—at the federal level.  These evil laws are a way to strip people of their rights to conduct their businesses in the way they see fit, according to their conscience, which might happen to include no desire to hire a mentally disordered man who dresses as a woman.  These laws would force employers to hire such people under threat of legal punishment. . . . . The whole “diversity” program is yet another part of the devil’s tyranny.

It is easy to see how the ignorant and bigoted can be spurred to violence against gays and others.  This is hater speech plain and simple and I find it disgusting that these "godly Christians" are so perverting Christianity.  The only good news is that because of them, Christianity is dying.  A death that is much deserved give how ugly Christianity has become.

Dog Whistle Call To Violence By Anti-Gay Activist

Just as they employ dog whistle calls to stir racial violence and discrimination, the professional Christian class and hate group leaders of organizations falsely describing themselves as supporting  "family values" now seem to be using similar dog whistle calls against gays.  Be it false claims of "Christian persecution" to rants about the loss of "religious freedom," the hate merchants are ratching up the rhetoric to dangerous levels.  The irony, of course is that if any one engages in the persecution of others, it is the Christofascists.  A piece in The New Civil Rights Movement looks at this dangerous (and dishonest) phenomenon.  Here are highlights:
Matt Barber's recent column, taken in context of his Barbwire website, feels like a dog whistle call to anti-LGBT anti-progressive violence, in my opinion. At least, that's how it feels to me.

Barber, a former boxer who portrays himself as a devout Christian, is now an Associate Dean at Jerry Falwell's Liberty University and the Vice President of Liberty Counsel Action. He is also is the publisher of the newly-created BarbWire.com, an increasingly hate-filled website that attacks gays, liberals, progressives, secular Americans, and reinforces the religious right's anti-women, anti-immigrant, anti-minority beliefs.

But Barber's column, published this weekend at BarbWire ("fueled by the Word of Life"), has already been republished at The Blaze and World Net Daily (WND).

While others may laugh, some might fear it to be, as do I, a figurative incitement to violence.

Here's how it begins:
From behind a smoking sniper rifle high atop his ivory tower peers the secular “progressive.” He surveys his many victims, strewn across the American landscape below and mockingly sneers, “War on Christianity? What war on Christianity?”

He then resumes shooting, all the while insisting that those uncooperative Christians who scatter for cover behind the word of God and the U.S. Constitution somehow suffer from a “persecution complex” (the baker, the photographer, the florist, the innkeeper, the Christian school administrator, etc.).
To fully advance the causes of radical feminism, abortion-on-demand, unfettered sexual license, “gay marriage” and the like, the pagan left must do away with religious free exercise altogether. Under the guise of “anti-discrimination,” Christians today face discrimination at unprecedented levels.

Let’s see if we can make this abundantly clear. Christians, true Christians – regenerate, Bible-believing Christians who strive their level best to maintain fidelity to the word of God and honor His commands – will not, indeed cannot, participate in, approve of, facilitate or encourage certain behaviors deemed by the Holy Scriptures to be immoral or sinful.
Portraying the collective of secular progressives as (ironically, since many or most are anti-gun) a sniper shooting a rifle at "uncooperative Christians who scatter for cover behind the word of God and the U.S. Constitution," is Barber calling his supporters to fight back and attack LGBT people and progressives?

Barber continues:
For every law, regulation, activist court ruling or presidential edict that demands Christians violate their sincerely held religious beliefs and adopt a postmodern, moral relativist way of life, there increases, in exact proportion, the likelihood of widespread civil disobedience – disobedience of the sort we haven’t seen since the civil rights struggles of the 1950s and ’60s.
The piece also shows a number of Barber's tweets that certainly suggest gays need to be met with violence.   Here is one I find particularly disturbing:

Christofascists Go Berserk Over Book on Gay Christians

At times I ponder how one can become so fearful of uncertainty and anything that challenges a simple-minded (actually, an ignorance embracing), house of cards faith construct that one attacks anything and anyone that threatens their imaginary fantasy world.  Is it a form of mental illness that fuels such conduct?  It surely is not the behavior of normal, well adjusted people.  Yet this fear and reaction against thinking are the norms of today's Christofascists.  Anything and anyone who challenges their world view must be destroyed.  Hence their animus towards gays.  Hence their animus towards the theory of evolution, etc.  A new book on gay Christians has some of the "godly folk" in full spittle flecked conniption fits.  LGBTQ Nation looks at the reaction to “God and the Gay Christian,” by Matthew Vines (pictured above).  Here are some highlights:
A new book that debuts in print this week is already causing outrage and discordant reactions from right-wing American Christian conservatives, who have labeled the book a sham, shameful, inaccurate, and a misinterpretation of the basic tenets of the Christian faith.

The author, Matthew Vines, is a quiet and unassuming 24-year-old former Harvard university student from Wichita, Kan. His book, “God and the Gay Christian,” reexamines what the Christian bible actually says about same-sex relationships, and explores the biblical context and historical background regarding sexual orientation and gender identity.

Yet, judging from the outraged reactions to his new book by right-wing luminaries, one would think that Satan himself co-authored Vines’ latest project.

Vines’ new book is a straight-forward structured analysis, coupled with a well researched case, that refutes some common misconceptions of the biblical intent and instead argues for a biblical support of same-sex relationships. The book is 180 pages, followed by another 20 pages of footnotes, citations, and other documentation to make the author’s case.

But critics are quick to dismiss Vines research, and instead opt to reassert their own brand of anti-gay rhetoric, cultivated over years of their own biblical interpretations.

Matt Barber, . . . .  dismisses Vines as “a homosexual activist and Bible revisionist known for manipulating Christian terminology to advance the counter-Christian homosexualist agenda.”

Vines himself isn’t all that concerned.  “I think the backlash has just begun,” Vines tells LGBTQ Nation. “For conservative Christians who base their opposition to LGBT equality on Scripture, it can be unnerving to have their biblical interpretation challenged and undermined by other conservative Christians.”

“Most non-affirming evangelicals aren’t prepared to have this conversation about Scripture yet, so I think a fair amount of bluster will precede actual, widespread engagement with the arguments I’m putting forward,” he says.

“But at some point, the bluster will clearly fail, and even the most determined opponents will have to engage with these arguments,” adds Vines.   “God and the Gay Christian” by Matthew Vines is due to be released April 22, 2014.
Science, knowledge and archeology discoveries are all enemies to the Christofascists flimsy faith construct.  As time goes by only the most ignorant and mentally unhinged will remain clinging to the Christofascists' belief that the Bible is inerrant.  As it is, the human genome project has revealed that Adam and Eve never existed and, therefore, the whole Christian myth of "The Fall" crumbles into dust and Christ's mission of redemption becomes unnecessary.

The True Ugliness and Danger Posed by Far Right Christians

Matt Barber is a dean at Liberty University's law school in Lynchburg, Virginia - an institution of alleged higher education which receives large amounts of federal scholarship dollars.  Yet the insanity and religious based hatred that is insanity that is disseminated by and from Liberty University is off the charts.  Indeed, Liberty Council in which law school dean Mat Staver and Matt Barber are involved was recently designated by the Southern Poverty Law Center as a hate group. And thanks to a rant on Matt Barber's blog, if there was any doubt that the hate group designation was warranted, that doubt has been dispelled.  Not only is Barber (as is Staver) vitriolic in his hatred of gays, but the man is horrifically anti-Muslim and it is rants like his - which repeats the myth that Christians are persecuted - that encourage violence against other citizens.  Here is a sampling of the venom that Barber and his blog are peddling:
How then is it that the world despises Christians, as well as Jews, above all others?  It is because of the eternal enmity chosen long ago by Satan when he decided in delusion that he could be equal in power to his Maker, and in rebellion was forever cast out of heaven—along with his fellow angel followers—and given temporary authority over the world.  In the Garden of Eden, Satan talked Adam and Eve into that same rebellion against the Lord.  The world has been under the curse of sin and death ever since.

From the beginning of time, Satan and the other fallen angels (demons) have made war against the Lord and His creation.  It is their sole mission to steal, kill and destroy what God has made and to keep as many people as possible from the knowledge of salvation through Jesus.  In this mission, they have heaped deception upon deception for mankind.  They have created countless false doctrines and distractions to mislead and deceive people into taking the path to Hell.  The world’s false religions—all those whose foundation is not solely the Gospel of Christ—lead to one place:  eternal damnation and separation from God.  This includes false, so-called “Christian” religions that deny Christ as the only Way to salvation, and instead, rely on traditions of men and on works to “earn” salvation, something we could never earn.

The frenzied, irrational hatred people of the world have for Christians is inspired by, and based in, Satan’s hatred for God and His people.  It’s a demonic hatred found in people who have rejected the Lord.  Have you ever noticed that there is not the same deep hatred for non-Christians and non-Christian religions?  Satan doesn’t hate his own work; he aggressively promotes and supports it.  Supernatural hatred for Christians and Jews exists because they are God’s people, the real deal, chosen by Him from the foundation of the world to be miraculously reconciled to Him.  We simply remind Satan of his eternal defeat and the fact that his time as “the god of this world” is short and growing to a close.  He is furious in his great loss.

What about Islam, the second largest religion in the world?  The roots of who would later become the Arab Muslim people go back to Abraham and Ishmael, his son from the Egyptian woman Hagar, the son Abraham had as a result of his brief unbelief in God’s ability to give him a son through his elderly wife Sarah.

Islam is a demonic, militant-political-religious ideology born of the children of Ishmael, and like them, it has greatly proliferated.  It is one of Satan’s premiere deceptions, tyrannically ensnaring countless millions of people.  And to this day, the word of the angel of the Lord to Hagar concerning Ishmael stands true:

10 And the angel of the Lord said unto her, I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude.
11 And the angel of the Lord said unto her, Behold, thou art with child and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the Lord hath heard thy affliction.
12 And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.

Those who adhere to Islam naturally have a demonically-inspired hatred for the people of the Lord, but as the Bible says, they hate everyone.  However, it is with the deepest of hatreds that they regard Christians and Jews, because their hatred is Satan’s hatred, and it goes well beyond simple dislike or disagreement on principles.  It goes to the heart of the spiritual essence of the foundational struggle, to the basic forces of darkness and light.

If anyone displays "frenzied, irrational hatred" it is the "godly folks."  Note how early on the rant relies on the now disproved myth that Adam and Eve existed as historical persons.   One has to wonder how someone can be so psychologically weak - or more appropriately, mentally disturbed - as to believe this crap.  These people are dangerous and their main stock in trade is hate and bigotry.  They do not deserve a voice in the public square.  With this kind of mindset it is little wonder that religion has caused countless wars and resulted in the deaths of millions over the last two millennium.

Christofascist Batshitery: Call the FBI About the Southern Poverty Law Center

The Southern Poverty Law Center ("SPLC") tracks and documents the activities of Neo-Nazi, white supremacist, anti-Semitic and anti-gay organizations, many of which portray themselves as supporting "family values" and protecting "real Americans" from foreign and/or degenerate vermin. These tracked organizations disseminate hate and lies and falsehoods about other citizens and simply put are not nice organizations and their members are not nice or decent people.  For these reasons, SPLC gives these organizations the designation of being "hate groups."   It's a most apt designation but it incenses the self-anointed who deem that they have the right to ride roughshod over the rights  of others as they seek to inflict their hate and fear based agendas on all.  The Christofascist in particular go berserk when SPLC calls them out for what they are.  At World Net Daily, a/k/a Wingnut Daily, Matt Barber of Liberty University (a blight on Virginia's reputation) lets loose with a barrage of rants that the godly need to start blowing up the FBI's phone lines with complaints about SPLC.  Here's a sampling of Barber's spittle flecked rant:
The magnitude of this Obama administration’s “progressive” radicalism becomes more evident with each passing day. In recent months, there has been a drastic spike in acts of both anti-Christian and anti-conservative discrimination and intimidation on military bases across the country. This mounting harassment is not being carried out at the hands of regular enlisted folk but, rather, at the hands of high-ranking officials who, in their official capacity, are targeting Christian and conservative organizations and individuals in an effort to silence them.

It has long been suspected that the Obama administration is using propaganda circulated by the roundly discredited Southern Poverty Law Center, or SPLC, a left-wing extremist group that, in recent years, has adopted two primary goals: 1) raising truckloads of money and 2) smearing as “domestic hate groups” dozens of mainstream Christian ministries like the Family Research Council, or FRC, and the American Family Association, or AFA.

I recently learned that on its official website, the FBI lists as one of its primary “hate crimes resources,” the Southern Poverty Law Center.

If this troubles you as much as it does me, please contact the FBI at (202) 324-3000 and respectfully voice your concern. Then call or email your local FBI office. (Click here to find that location.) It’s critical that freedom-loving Americans light-up the FBI’s phone lines and demand that all facets of government completely disassociate from the SPLC and disavow any further use of its anti-Christian propaganda.  The Southern Poverty Law Center must be held accountable for its inflammatory and potentially deadly anti-Christian bigotry.
In my view, Barber belongs in a mental ward.  The fact that he is a dean at Liberty University's law school speaks volumes about the batshitery being promoted by that feigned institution of higher learning.
