The Christianists continue to seek to restrict availability of contraception and push for idiotic abstinence only sex education. The result is a far higher teen pregnancy number than any other developed nation. The other likely consequence is that the USA also probably has a higher demand for abortions because of the embarrassingly high teen pregnancy rate. The Fruits of Abstinence Only Sex Ed and Restrictions on Contraception
The Christianists continue to seek to restrict availability of contraception and push for idiotic abstinence only sex education. The result is a far higher teen pregnancy number than any other developed nation. The other likely consequence is that the USA also probably has a higher demand for abortions because of the embarrassingly high teen pregnancy rate. The disconnect between this reality and the lip service the Christianists give to being against abortion becomes all too obvious.
