Possible Pope Favorite Defended "Kill the Gays" Bill

With the Nazi Pope set to abdicate effective February 28, 2013, many gays hope I suspect mistakenly that things might get better under the new Pope.  Given the current list of deemed contenders its unlikely any such positive thing will happens since all of the current cardinals were placed in office by Benedict XVI or the equally anti-gay John Paul II.  And if Ghanaian Cardinal Peter Turkson (pictured above) - a supposed African favorite - were to ascend to the throne of St. Peter, it's a safe bet that the anti-gay animus will ramp up further since Turkson supports Uganda's "Kill the Gays" Bill.   Gay Star News has details:

The top three candidates for Pope are all vehemently anti-LGBT, with one defending African laws punishing gay people with death.

Ghanaian Cardinal Peter Turkson, president of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, has said many of the laws imposed on gay people in Africa are an ‘exaggeration.’

In over 30 African countries, homosexuality is illegal and punishments range from public whippings to jail time and capital punishment.

Other favorites for Pope include Nigerian Cardinal Francis Arinze and Canadian Cardinal Marc Ouellet.
In a 2003 speech at Georgetown University in the UK, Arinze likened homosexuality with pornography, infanticide and adultery.

He has also opposed religious people wearing rainbow sashes, who prove they are ‘showing their opposition to Church teaching on a major issue of natural law and so disqualify themselves from being given Holy Communion.’

Like Turkson and Arinze, Ouellet has regularly spoken out against homosexuality.  As the same-sex marriage legislation was being debated in Canada, he warned anti-gay speakers could be brought to the ‘court because I am teaching against homosexuality as part of the doctrine of the Catholic Church.’  He has also referred to homosexuality as an ‘abomination’, and the path to equal rights for gay people as a ‘black cloud over America.’

Of course, it be interesting to know if these horrible men participated in the Vatican's worldwide conspiracy to obstruct justice and cover up crimes against children.  I suspect the answer that all of them did.  Getting rid of Benedict XVI is not going to cleanse the Church hierarchy of the filth that currently inhabits it.

ALOT OF HEALTHY OPINION SAID HERE.
BEING AFRICA WOULD BE A VERY EASY ROAD FOR THE VATICAN/CHURCH TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF (FOR MONEY LAUNDERING, HUMAN TRAFFICKING,DENIAL OF REALITY OF PRESENCE OF HIV/AIDS, AND HOMOSEXUALITY REALITES IN AFRICA (FOR GAYS HAVE HAD TO GO UNDERGROUND FOR MANY YEARS, DUE TO DENIALS AND HATRED BY CARDINALS AND AFRICA GOV'T). AFRICA IN MOST RECENT STUDIES, WOULD BE THE EASIEST PLACE ON EARTH , FOR THE CATHOLIC CHURCH TO UNCONTROLLABLY CONTINUE HUMAN TRAFFICKING AND MONEY LAUNDERING WITHOUT INCIDENT.
IN OTHER WORDS, IT'S EASIER TO COMMIT ALL KINDS OF ILLEGAL ACTIVITY AND CORRUPTION AND MONEY LAUNDERING AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING IN AFRICA, BEING THERE IS NO HEALTHY CONTROL OF IT THERE.
