I am hoping that local readers will join the boyfriend and me for an evening at the offices of the Virginia Arts Festival organization whose purpose is to bring world-class performing arts to Hampton Roads citizens and visitors. Through the arts, Virginia Arts Festival seeks to impact the lives of students through outstanding educational programs, by commissioning new works of national and international significance, and making a tangible difference in Hampton Roads through regional partnerships and making a positive economic impact through the generation of cultural tourism. The event will include a surprise theatrical presentation while LGBT and LGBT friendly business owners and allies network and build business relationships that enhance both the LGBT and larger business communities.
