It's crunch time for DADT repeal and Senators need to put aside their personal prejudices and vote to end DADT and its enshrining of religious based discrimination into the law. As you will recall, before the election, the Senate failed to break a filibuster of the National Defense Authorization Act which contains a path to the repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell. Along with the Servicemembers Legal Defense Network, I am urging readers to call key senators such as Jim Webb and again tell them to allow a vote on the defense appropriations bill which includes the path to repeal for Don't Ask Don't Tell. This MUST happen before the end of the lame duck session.

Call Senator Jim Webb at - 202-224-4024. For non-Virginia readers, please call the Senate switchboard today at (202) 224-3121. I'd love to know what kind of reception you receive.
