One has to wonder what it will take for the Log Cabin Republicans to wake up to the truth. A simple reading of the recently adopted Republican Party Platform - which has absolutely NOTHING in it for LGBT citizens and much that harms us - ought to have been enough to wake them up. What does it take? The rattle of Zyklon B crystals? *
Notwithstanding all the facts and evidence that the GOP is an anti-gay party, the Long Cabin Republicans have endorsed John McCain and indirectly his "pray away the gay" VP running mate, Sarah Palin. Are the LRC's self-loathing or what? Personally, I believe these LCR's need to be committed if they cannot grasp that they are fighting a losing battle and that LGBT interests would be better served if they ceased assisting our tormentors in the GOP. How much more abuse and rejection do they need to receive in order to comprehend that the GOP is the antithesis of a force for "fairness, freedom, and equality for gay and lesbian Americans."

From another Norfolk,Va. resident, I write: What U don't understand is that Political groups will literally say and do ANYTHING to keep the Political $$$$$MONEY flow coming their way ! The Log Cabin Republicans would cease having their little Political group if they did NOT fall inline with The full REPUBLICAN PARTY ! NO Political Party can keep existing without the constant $$$$ flow! This is the absolute HEIGHT of Political Season which only arrives once every 4 years and Log Cabin Republicans are in full knowledge that if they did NOT totally endorse THE REPUBLICAN CANDIDATES there would be NO cash flow !
Everything in life is reduced to MONEY !
