The Republicans are Hell bent to repeal "Obamacare" yet they have no realistic proposal of how they would fix the nations broken health acre system which is an embarrassment relative to other industrialized - and even some recently industrializing - nations. The fact is that (as the chart above illustrates) the per day cost of hospital stays in America are astronomical compared to other nations. Could it be because our non-profit 501(c)(3) hospitals are writing off huge amounts related to those millions of Americans with no insurance and redirecting those costs to paying patients with health care insurance?
As I note frequently, what is really horrible - or is hypocritical a better term? - is that the political party that wraps itself in Christianity and feigned religiosity is the party same that could care less for those without adequate health care access. Their attitude is basically just as callous as that of the Caledon Hockley in James Cameron's movie "Titanic."
