UPDATED: The dinner party was a great success. It was the two of us, two other gay couples and four country club women. Would that all Virginians were as progressive and accepting as our friends.
This weekend has been a social whirlwind, starting with Thanksgiving Day through today when the boyfriend and I are hosting a dinner party for a dear friend before she heads south to the Florida Keys for the winter. We enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner at the Paradise Ocean Club at Ft. Monroe. Since then we've been to events/dinner at the Hampton Yacht Club, the James River Country Club, friends' homes and tonight dinner at home with 8 guests. Here are a few photos:
