As Bob Felton notes over at Civil Commotion, The Economist ranks countries according to their acceptance of the theory of evolution. It's not pretty as to where the USA falls in the rankings:
Of course, if the Christianists have their way, as a nation we will be dumbed down even further. As I said in an earlier post, these folks and their anti-knowledge agenda are a threat to the nation's long term survival.
