Palidino Attacks Gays But Wants "Privacy" About His Love Child

UPDATE: Mr. Paladino, the Republican candidate for governor of New York appeared on both the “Today” show and “Good Morning America” and defended his outrageous anti-gay comments yesterday. Here are highlights from the New York Times where this falandering adulterer reiterated his denigration of LGBT citixens:
*
Mr. Paladino, who also appeared on “Good Morning America,” sought to defend controversial remarks about gays he made on Sunday to Jewish leaders in Brooklyn, including arguing that children should not be “brainwashed” into considering homosexuality acceptable.
*
Mr. Paladino reiterated that he thought it was wrong for Andrew M. Cuomo, his Democratic opponent, to have taken his daughters to a gay pride parade, saying that such events were inappropriate for children.
*
“Young children should not be exposed to that at a young age. They don’t understand, it’s a very difficult thing,” Mr. Paladino said. “And exposing them to homosexuality, especially at a gay pride parade — and I don’t know if you have ever been to one, but they wear these little Speedos and they grind against each other and it’s just a terrible thing.”

*
The gall and audacity of the far right Republicans continues to be amazing. Yesterday, Carl Paladino (shown at right) - who wants to be governor of New York - went on an anti-gay rant during a visit with Orthodox Jewish leaders. Here's the Daily News' account of the batshitery:
*
Flame-throwing Republican Carl Paladino erupted again, declaring Sunday that being gay is "not the example that we should be showing our children."
*
"I don't want [children] brainwashed into thinking homosexuality is an equally valid and successful option - it isn't," Paladino said to applause at a meeting with Hasidic Jewish leaders in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
*
In a version of the speech distributed by a rabbi, the rant went further, charging there is "nothing to be proud of in being a dysfunctional homosexual."
*
He cast himself as the "religious values candidate" and vowed to veto any gay marriage bill if he's elected governor.
*
His comments come amid a recent wave of anti-gay incidents, including a stunning revelation that nine members of a sadistic Bronx gang tortured a gay man and two gay 17-year-olds
.
*
Well it seems that "Mr. Religious Values" is a major league hypocrite and apparently subscribes to the David Vitter form of "family values" which includes sex out side of one's marriage. In Paladino's case, the sexual affair led to a child who is now 10 years old. As the true hypocrite that he is, Paladino wants to meddle in the sex lives of gays and demean us, but his own adultery is supposed to be kept "a private matter." Here are highlights from today's Daily News on this hypocrisy eruption:
*
A controversial conservative businessman who will announce his run for governor Monday fathered a child during an extramarital affair a decade ago.
*
Buffalo developer Carl Paladino, 63, has been married nearly 40 years to his wife, Cathy.
*
The two had three grown children together - one of whom died in a car crash last year. It was only after that tragedy that Paladino confessed to his wife he had a secret love child, a now-10-year-old girl. A Buffalo-area source identified the child's mother as Sue Brady, an ex-staffer of Paladino's Ellicott Development company.
*
"The Paladinos consider this a private family matter and ask all media to respect their privacy," said campaign manager Michael Caputo, who would not confirm the woman's name.
*
Yep, it's the same old GOP double standard - sing family values to others and utterly ignore them in one's private life.

The "family values" they yammer on about are a crock anyway.

Mistresses and molesting children are traditional family values. Go back a bit and one can add slavery.
