Alabama Listed Gays Among Terrorist Groups

365gay.com is reporting that the State of Alabama Department of Homeland Security was listing gay organizations as potential terrorist organizations. I lived in Alabama for four years in the late 1970's and early 1980's. I am shocked at how far Alabama has drifted to the lunatic far right mindset. It is NOT the state I once knew:

(Montgomery, Alabama) The Alabama Department of Homeland Security has taken down a Web site it operated that included gay rights and anti-war organizations in a list of groups that could include terrorists.

The Web site identified different types of terrorists, and included a list of groups it believed could spawn terrorists. The list also included environmentalists, animal rights advocates and abortion opponents.
