Posting will be reduced tomorrow because the boyfriend and I will be traveling to Richmond for Equality Virginia's "Day of Action" - sometimes called "Lobby Day." On the bus ride up (local LGBT organizations and community members have paid for the charter cost) we will organize,
plan, review talking points and pending bills and push for LGBT equality in Virginia. While in Richmond we will visit legislators,
attend a session in the Legislative chambers (8:30pm - 5:00pm) and
celebrate at a private reception with our Legislators (5:30pm-7:30pm) and top elected officials. I suspect that Democrats will welcome us. The Republicans, not so much. :) The boyfriend's father will be house sitting/dog sitting.
For those who cannot travel to Richmond, please contact your state senator and delegate and make it clear that you support - no, demand - LGBT equality in Virginia.
