The similarities to Michelangelo's frescos or to the sculptures in 'the Medici Chapel never cease to amaze me. Or is this figure off the pediment of the Parthenon? Sorry, don't want to sound like an artso twit, but the great classical icons (correct use of the word, for a change) return because the human form is the greatest expression of the Divine....when and as we desire to conform to that Image.
